Oxford - Great Success

(not sure how to make this a non-link...Don't click it!)
Oxford is an awesome campus. Too many tourist thought and, yesterday, I was one of them. I went with my cousin Jasmine and her family. She lives on the outskits of London. First we planned to tour center London (downtown) but we went on impluse and drove to Oxford, which truthfully was not far at all.

When we got into the city, it started off on a very funny note. A lady got upset because we were in the bike lane so she started yelling at us and my cousins husband, Nevil, rolled down the window and acted like a tourist. She kept yelling in a old granny English accent foaming at the mouth then said "Do you need any help?" To which he replied "Not from you!" and rolled up the window on her. CLASSIC, then she rode away and parking spot opened up infront of her....sooo he proceeded to speed past her, cut her off and park in the spot. Amazing start.

We saw some pretty cool sights in the city.

This is called punting. Its just like in Venice with the stick you push in the water...I did terrible.

This was a cool view we saw while punting. We were literally floating a few inches above the water. Very very relaxing and scenic.

The trip was a great experience. I learned a lot about the college, the history and everything surrounding the city. I recommend this as a half day trip to anyone in this area. Grab a brew, a tour guide, and a group of scholars and you will be set to have a great time in Oxford, an intellectual pool of awesome.
